The National Sports Daily was a newspaper focused on sports, published Monday through Friday. It ran from January 1990 to June 1991. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer had a weekly column from May 1990 until the final week in June of 1991. My friends and I had been reading the Observer, along with Pro Wrestling Torch and Matwatch so we were excited to spend our 50 cents a week to buy the National and read more wrestling behind the scenes news. You have to remember, this was before the time of the internet, social media and constant, instant updates. On this page you will find screenshots of the articles that I found online.
