GCW returned to the RJ Meyer Arena, home of Maryland Championship Wrestling,  for a fun night of action

Gringo Loco & Vengador defeated the Heavenly Assassins (Chris Slade & Alex Devine)  fast paced opener. Double dives over the top to the floor in the first 5 minutes.  Seemed to be ALOT of cutters.

Myles Hawkins & Post Game defeated Flyin Ryan, Juni Underwood & DJ Westbrook

Vipress defeated Kerry Morton by DQ. Slower paced than the previous 2 matches. Morton, the son of Ricky, is such a good Memphis style chicken shit heel.  The finish came when Morton pulled the ref in the way of a charging Vipress who speared him on a door. The ref DQd Vipress but then watched instant replay and reversed the decision. Good match, bad finish

Manders pinned Bojack after a lariat. Hoss fight

Joey Janella pinned Ken Dixon

Janella played heel against local Big Poppa Joppa. Janella hit a stiff lariat on Dixon for a 2 count. Should’ve used something else and protected Manders finisher we just saw in the previous match.   Janella threw doors and chairs in the ring. They both used chairs. Janella set up 6 chairs, Dixon hit a piledriver on the chairs for a 2 count. Janella hit 2 cutters, followed by Dixon putting him through a door for a 2 count. Janella hit Dixon with 2 DVDs on chairs for the 3 count

Greg Excellent pinned Sturdy Sal

Greg has always been entertaining and has a long history on the Maryland indies. Good to see him on the show. Fun comedy match.

Ruckus, Don Freeze & Ricky Morton  beat KJ Orso and VNSL48 Christian Napier & GCW Heavyweight Champion Atticus Cogar.

Local favorite Ruckus and legend Ricky Morton on the same team.  Ruckus used to call my wrestling hotline and ask for Sabu tapes 25 years ago and I was watching Ricky Morton at the Civic Center 40 years ago.  Ruckus is going into the 2300/ECW Arena Hall of Fame tomorrow night and the heels started tonight by getting the heat on him. Teased some dissension between Orso and VNDL48.  Ricky got a hot tag, took it to all the heels and it broke down with both teams in the ring. Atticus hit a moonsault and Orso tagged himself in. Orso accidentally hit Napier with the GCW belt and Ricky Morton hit a Destroyer on Orso for the pin.

Main event was old school hardcore vs new school hardcore.

John Wayne Murdoch, Reed Bentley & Matt Tremont beat  Jimmy Lloyd, Nino Extremo & Lil Sicko

They used trash cans and doors early. They Brawler towards the entrance ramp. Bentley and Murdoch hit a spike tombstone piledriver on Nino. They used a kid from the crowd as a weapon,  Driving his feet into lil sicko. They let fans chop Lloyd. Bentley and Sicko set up ladders. Sicko hit a moonsault off the top of 1 to the floor onto the rest of the match. Nino hit a sick dive over the top to the floor onto Murdoch and Bentley.  Bentley hit a Pepsi plunge on Sicko from the top and it looked like he landed right on his head. Murdoch hit Lloyd with a brainbuster on a chair for the pin.
